Can anyone explain what is the difference between client side scripting and server side scripting ?
server side scripts are processed on the server, i.e. a server’s involvement is necessary for the script to execute. Client side scripts are processed on the client’s browser where there is no interaction with the server to run the client side script. Server side scripts generally run at the back end which is not visible to the users. Client side scripts run on the front and are visible to the users. A simple example of client side script is input validation in forms, examples for server side scripting are user authentication (login), storing data or retrieving data from server.
