Hi there, may i know what is difference between Then & than and where we need to use that?
Dear learner,
Welcome to Learnvern! We are happy to serve you.
We hope our following reply serves your query well.
THEN: It is an adverb. It means later, afterward.
I wake up at 6 am, and then take a shower.
It also means AT THAT SPECIFIC TIME.
He was the president then.
‘THAN’ AS A PREPOSITION: it is used for comparison for example
My sister loves my mother more than me.
‘ THAN’ AS A SUBORDINATING CONJUNCTION:
Mangoes are sweeter than apples ( are).
He is taller than I (am).
Keep learning.
